Evening farmers market starts on Dearborn

Joyce Colmar and Karen Tyree have started a new evening farmers market on Dearborn Street scheduled to run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays through June. The evening market kicked off Thursday in the empty lot Colmar owns on the north side of Dearborn Street at Orange Street. Eight vendors were at the inaugural market with six more expected next week. Booths start at $25. Some will be available free for nonprofits. Call 404-660-7629.
